Don't Miss Your Chance to See "From One Rose" During the 2008 Rose Festival!
On Saturday, June 7 (at the Historic Hollywood Theatre), the Portland Rose Festival will host a special screening of their Centennial Motion Picture, "From One Rose."
Prior to the screening, Donna Parker (of the Columbia River Organ Club) will be on hand to provide some pre-show entertainment -- and to accompany the antics of local vaudeville showman and comedian, Angel Ocasio.

Tuesday, June 3, Was Puppet Rehearsal Day!
This past Tuesday afternoon, the back parking lot of the Portland Rose Festival Foundation office was turned into a rehearsal staging area for the amazing Michael Curry Puppets that will be appearing in Saturday's Grand Floral Parade!
Volunteers learned how to operate and work with the amazing giant puppets.

You Can View the Coronation and Grand Floral Parade Inside the Memorial Coliseum!
For the first time in decades, the Memorial Coliseum will be full of natural light, with the curtains down. It's impossible to describe how much this brightens the arena, so you'll have to be there to see it for yourself!

Besides the usual pre-parade entertainment, you can witness the crowning of the 2008 Queen during the Queen's Coronation presented by Pacific Power.
Then witness the first-ever Regence Grand Floral Walk.
Followed by the KeyBank Grand Floral Parade!
When bands play inside the Coliseum they make stirring music!
