Come and explore this prehistoric adventure, where you'll see 20 life-like dinosaur replicas and life-sized dinosaur bones. In celebration of the Rose Festival's strong ties to Portland history, this year's History & Roses Tour presented by Windermere showcases a selection of vintage Portland homes, landmarks and gardens.

Each location has its own tradition or historical significance involving the Rose Festival and offers a glimpse of early Portland life when the festival was young.

Locations on the tour are open various dates and hours (each location on the tour may charge an admission rate).

In 2007, the coordinator of the then brand new History & Roses Tour was Sharon Tracy, a former Portland Rose Festival employee. Sharon was the Junior Rose Festival Queen in 1947. You can read her personal Rose Festival Story by clicking HERE.

Discounts are available with the History & Roses Tour Passport, which can be purchased for $5 at the Rose Festival office, or at all Dennis' 7 Dees landscaping and garden centers.
